![]() I just installed Chrome Remote Desktop for a VIP here on his in office Mac, and have been told that it won't work for him because it wakes up his computer and shows the local screen to show and would also most likely allow a local user to control the computer. For every problem theres a solution and in order to use Chrome remote desktop and hide the screen on the host computer Google has come up with Curtain mode. Curtain Mode provides the ability to hide the console desktop on the remote screen while the operator remote controls it. So, while taking a quick look around I couldn't find much other than a trend for products that have a solution for this that works in Windows, but not on a Mac. Including Chrome Remote Desktop, which does have a curtain mode which you can enable with a registry key, but there apparently is no Mac equivalent. Make sure you Enable RDP connections to the machine by selecting Control PanelSystem and SecuritySystem > Remote settings > Allow connections.
